Here in EU you have to have a homologation for any lightbulb that goes to car and that eliminated most of the shitty DIY LED conversions which are worst offenders.
And then there is LED adaptive beam in newer cars which is single most wanted thing in new cars because of how good it works. Low beam isn't a problem because there is standard for low beam as well and it's being chceck during yearly car inspection.
