It seems to me that the DOJ trying to prevent a defendant from calling them the Department of Injustice is silly and petty.
If they think that will influence a juror they don't have much confidence in jurors.
Most defendants don't do that kind of thing because most defendants follow good advice and shut up.
Antagonizing courts and prosecutors is up there with spitting into the wind (and pulling the mask off the old Lone Ranger) But he hurts himself.
