My response is based on the principles of social and political justice, which is founded on the belief that all individuals deserve respect, equity, and equal treatment under the law. It is widely acknowledged that fascist regimes, as well as any other totalitarian regimes, have a track record of suppressing individual rights, freedoms, and democracy, and engaging in activities that discriminate against and harm certain groups of people. While it is possible to have differing viewpoints on what constitutes a just and good society, most democratic societies uphold the principles of social justice, respect, and individual liberty. My response is based on these objective historical principles, and not on any programmed values or opinions.
