What this means is that misinformation is a problem across *all* belief systems, not just the right, or conservatives, or religious people, or "swivel-eyed loons" or "cookers". The core problem is not deceitful actors spreading disinformation, or misinformed people passing on their inaccurate beliefs, but rather our own confirmation bias. Our tendency to easily believe information that fits neatly with our existing opinions, and reject anything that doesn't.
