Took flight just after The Sopranos ended, which was one of the best series to ever air and a tough act to follow.
The concept of honest characters and natural dialogue ended somewhere around the 2010-2012 point. Good writing in general took a nosedive right there.
It's like writers have completely given up trying to create honest characters with flaws and redeeming qualities.RT:
