We don't even know that loop quantum gravity predicts anything like the spacetime we see around us. Everyone who works on the subject should know that. But some people wanted to claim loop quantum gravity makes some testable predictions, so they stuck their neck out and made this 'prediction".
it's a lot like how some string theorists claimed it 'predicts' superpartners of mass accessible at the LHC. That's not a prediction of string theory. It's a personal decision that string theory 'should' predict that.
