question for Writers:
How do you capture those fleeting ideas for a story?
I'm sitting here trying to recall something I was rolling around in my head 2 nights ago as I fell asleep. I was too tired to get up and write it down (and it was dark)
I didn't want to voice record it-so I didn't wake the wife...
Now I feel like I should have gotten my lazy arse up and done one or the other.
What's the least "invasive" way to capture those ideas in the middle of the night?
