I'll talk about just one because he's difficult. Gaja, the medieval pirate/barber surgeon. Rumored to be a Sri Lankan prince. He's modeled after a childhood friend who died by suicide when we were 14/15. He's been popping up regularly in everything I write. It seems like an unconscious compulsion. It's a strange form of processing as I don't control it.
