Yeah, listening to RNZ - this person talking about the Ōtautahi Stadium (which, of course, will compete with the already underutilised Convention Centre) is clearly deluded in her claims about usage. This stadium is a massive subsidy of the wealthy by the poorer majority (many of whom will never be able to afford to participate in stadium events). Such an utter crock of shit. More here:
