I just needed to capture proof of this #Caturday miracle of our shy cat sitting next to me.

When we got him, this cat was called Shadow because he was always hiding. Initially, we thought he'd be the lap cat out of the two kittens we got. But no. As much as he loves to be pet, he will absolutely not hang out anywhere near us humans. It's a small miracle when he actually chooses to even be in the same room with us. But today, he's actually chosen to come up in bed with me, even in the absence of his best cat buddy who's snuggling my poor, sleeping spouse.

...Now I have to see if I can exit the bed to go tuck the chickens in without disturbing him...
