Our flight home was on a 787.
I get all the late-stage capitalism ‘whys' but it was annoying that on one hand the windows had high-tech polarization instead of window shades. On the other the seats were so close, my tray table was barely 6 inches and when my seat-in-front-of-me-friend reclined there wasn't even space to sit my iPad up.
I saw others with laptops watching movies with the thing angled like a V because there was just no room.
Airlines (and Boeing) make travel miserable.
