Can we agree that popping briefly above the Von Kármán line as a passenger on a commercial sub-orbital rocket is only technically “going to space” & that it doesn’t make you “an astronaut”?
I’m sure it’s good for golf club bragging, social media clicks, & breathless autobiographies on how you achieved your life’s dream against all the odds, but honestly, it doesn’t make you some kind of world historical figure.
Roll on 2034 when perhaps we can be over this rather daft phase of space tourism.
