The apparatus for disseminating emergency information in #Canada is absolutely abysmal.
A radio broadcaster friend of mine tells me there's a flash flood emergency in place related to the #Chilcotin #Landslide but Environment Canada's website shows nothing and the BC River Forecast Centre hasn't updated their website since yesterday evening - well before water started flowing over the dam.
Water has been flowing for five hours now.
