the more you use XMPP the more you support a fragmented ecosystem that, like email, is far too complex to enter on your own, but unlike email, does not have the tools necessary to do so.
there are only like three apps and they all suck, plus it was designed to do too many things, plus it's rotting. please, just let dead things die
