How to get your own office:
Back in Toronto I was working for a manufacturing company doing electronics engineering and mechatronics work and since it was such a small company I shared an office with the sales team.
One day they commented on how the repeated clicking of a solenoid valve I was working on would drive them crazy if they had to listen to it all day …
… so I whipped up a bit of code to toggle it at slightly irregular intervals to make it even more annoying.
It wasn't long afterwards that the salespeople starting working from home most days. 🤔
