I was going to nitpick & say based on my experience that's not true and some people (not politicians) really do believe life begins at conception, but tbh it's more like they *believe* that they believe that, because no one—*no one*—actually lives their life in a way consistent with this belief. It's impossible.
You would have to believe that a baby dies every time a fertilized egg does not implant, which means even aside from abortion, "unborn babies" are dying at an alarming rate.
