Timeline on Federal reserve:
Republican Nelson Aldrich formulates with bankers the Aldrich Plan in 1910. Democrats don't like this even Jewier version and block it. In 1912 Democrats win White House and modify plan so that Congress gets to nominate the Fed chairs. Bill passes in 1913 with Democrat support and Republicans attempting to block because not Jewy enough.
It's the 1910's version of Dems offering Israel $4B and GOP demanding they give $5B.
