Telling users in my instance via DMs that an anonymous report was filed against them from a user at another instance is, in my mind, good practice. Telling everyone in my federated range that a user from an instance anonymously reported me, I know the identity of this user, and that said user should "get fucked" is rather petty. At least I didn't @ the person, I got that going for me.
