IDEA Group sent a letter to the Apostolic Nuncio in Caracas in response to the siege situation at the Argentinean embassy 🇻🇪🇦🇷

The former Heads of State and Government of the Democratic Initiative of Spain and the Americas, denounced the siege maintained by the Venezuelan regime at the Embassy of Argentina in Caracas, preventing access to basic supplies and restricting essential services for political asylum seekers in that residence. In a communiqué addressed to the Apostolic Nuncio and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Venezuela, the former presidents expressed their alarm at what they described as a systematic violation of human rights, by keeping under surveillance and police siege a diplomatic headquarters which, in their words, has become “another prison of the dictatorship”.
