Can someone explain to me the doomerism regarding the next US election? I remember reading a mountain of doomerism about the last mid-term elections and how it would be a red wave, and it turned out an absolute disaster for them. Same for the elections in France. If you go out and vote, shit simply doesn't happen, no matter how many bad takes you see in the corporate press or on xitter.
