Up here in Haywood County, NC where the storm damage was not complete but there are still trees down along i40 from Marion to here. The valley homes and trailers were widely flooded. Highway 276 is lined with ruined household debris. Whole lots were flooded utterly. Yet my folks who live about 100 ft up the mountain were completely fine.
