Spain is preparing for the possible reception of thousands of Venezuelans deported from the U.S.
The Government led by Pedro Sánchez is in full preparation for the possibility of a large number of Venezuelan citizens arriving from the United States. From the Spanish Executive, several sources have acknowledged that, although there is still no concrete plan of action to face this eventuality, the matter has been discussed at the Moncloa Palace. In the event that a significant number of these Venezuelan citizens choose to go to Spain in search of refuge, the Government has assured that they will be offered protection and support, following the same line of action that has allowed the reception of more than 125,000 Venezuelans in the last few years.
