I’ve always had that dream of being able to simulate the real world to be able to predict things and I’m sure you and every nerd with dollars to invest or technocrat with votes to secure or resources to protect has as well. But I’m not sure how an (mmo)RPG helps with that. I guess rather than user input, you could use bots reacting to real world data, but then you’ve just created a virtual mirror, but one that could predict the next few seconds until you got more input data. Or maybe it’s a good way to backtest government or corporate strategies?
