Primus was one band that I'd always wanted to listen to in high school in the nineties, but I'd already spent my money first on other bands like Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Blind Guardian, and mostly other metal bands, and usually in the power metal genre. There's no better escapism than the pure imagination of power metal or any other music that taps into that creative vein. I love all music, really, but until recently with Apple Music, YouTube Music, Spotify, etc, I couldn't afford it.
