Non-tech notes on Leuven from my #HeartOfClojure visit and perspective as a Viennese district council who is into urban planning and mobility:
- 🚶♀️the city center is so nice to walk, also thanks to a vast network of pedestrian zones
- 🚲 so many people using all sorts of bikes, almost no one uses helmets
- 🚗 cars feel almost foreign in the city center, very few street side parking spots
- 🚦almost no traffic lights, even at busy intersections like next to the central train station… (1/2)
