I was at our shop pricing records on Thursday when I noticed a crowd forming outside our window.
There was a parade scheduled for the 4th of July.
I forgot that it was the 4th, I forgot about the parade and the fireworks.
I ended up stuck at the shop until like 10p.
Thankfully, a small number of friends also got stuck in town, so we had an impromptu parade watching party with some of the neighborhood kids.
This would have been pleasant were it not for the contents of the parade.
