i visited one shinto shrine in tokyo, the ana-hachimangu, and it was so beautiful. i’m obsessed ⛩️
it haunts me. no photo could do it justice. i didn’t spend enough time staring at it, i want to see ut again. i wont make it back this trip.
somehow a lot of the interiority of Japanese design and architecture were made clear with that one brief glimpse of the divine
