install ipfs for windows:

or using your package manager (linux)
a) sudo apt install kubo
b) sudo pacman -S kubo
start ipfs (linux):
ipfs init
ipfs daemon
(optional: install service: https://blog.bithive.space/post/a-systemd-unit-for-ipfs/)
to resolve ipfs:// protocol links, you need one of these:
a) brave
b) firefox + ipfs companion
c) chrome + ipfs companion
test it:
