Ultramarine hate goes back to the Matt Ward days, but he hasn't really been a thing for at least 10 years now. I do often get disappointed when I see a new novel and it has Ultramarines on the cover because there's many other loyalist chapters who still haven't really gotten a good spotlight novel yet.
