"content": "I'm guessing given USB's popularity there might be lightweight ICs that act as reset controllers for those thresholds without being full USB-C power controllers, but I dunno. Depending on mainboard power draw I guess you could also have the CPU in charge of releasing most stuff out of reset, so it powers up on a \u003c500mA budget, measures voltages, and releases reset on the rest if ok",
