I assume they did experiments on what people can do during these out-of-body experiences? Like, hiding a sign on top of a bookshelf, then telling the subject to go find what it says while out of body.
I seem to recall such a sign being hidden in an emergency room at one point. None of the patients ever said anything about it, but since they were traumatized, dying ER patients and not experiment participants, they wouldn't have known to go looking.
