I've almost finished a new demo for a song I wrote a few years ago. I originally envisioned it as a prog rock song, maybe akin to Rush's The Camera Eye. But I couldn't get it to work. Then I tried it as an ambient synth piece. Still no. Now I'm trying it as shoegaze and I think it's working. The third verse needs something else to keep it interesting, but I think I've got the demo almost done.
Most of it is in 13/4 so I'm going to say it's shoemath. Or mathgaze.
