as far as I can see it, as long as you don't ask for money in return for the loan the system doesn't get degraded.
If you loan $100, and say you owe me the $100 back and 2 hours of work in my garden, the problem doesn't happen.
Your a apple farmer? You need $10,000 bucks for more apple trees,
Or equipment? OK, you repay me the $10,000 time agreed upon and I want 1000lbs of apples.
If you do that, you don't degrade the money supply, and you don't require .....
