Quickly fried some fresh noodles, pak choi, various mushrooms, spring onions and málà xiāngguō seasoning in a wok for a quick stir-fry with numbing spicy flavor.
The dark brown, almost caramel color comes through the magic of just a few drops of dark soy sauce which is always good to have (besides the light soy sauce that brings taste, not color).
