So this might be interesting to some.
I recently got Discord, since some of my remaining Skype contacts won't be reachable through the means I already have.
While I mostly intend to use it to chat to individuals, I was curious about the servers as well. So I thought I'd do a web search for Discord servers for Finns living abroad. Got zilch. So I thought what about just Finland. And I got several sites that seem to list Discord servers and their descriptions. I looked at the site that appeared to have most results for my search, about 5 pages.
Out of those 5 pages of server descriptions, about 3/4 were obviously generated by some kind of bots. No actual Finn would ever write like that.
Out of those "bot servers", at least half, probably another 3/4, were either explicitly or implicitly about Trans.
I found that very odd. And somewhat suspicious.
