Because of legal problems, I probably wouldn't run a relay.
But if I did, I would keep the database lean this way:
Prune messages from..
- users with no profile within a few days
- users with a profile and no NIP-05 within two weeks
- users with profile and NIP-05 within two months
- premium users paying some sats/year - keep forever*
- users referenced by a premium user - keep forever*
* Where forever is at least some years.
