So, MIL took a fall yesterday afternoon and was taken to our local hospital by ambulance. X-rays showed that she had broken off the head of her femur, so another ambulance ride, this time to Canberra. Of course, there were no beds available, so she was kept in ER overnight and was scheduled for surgery early this morning so that they can put a metal pin into the bone.
