English football doesn't get a lot of love here on Mastodon (except from nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnddaehgu3wwp6kyqpq9xu7l3dzum28386tx9fv2n3699uqwq8wc3l4sy8sjkc67nu938hqrygyq6 (nprofile…gyq6)), but this is a great piece of writing by Barney Ronay on the troubles at Manchester United. It's spicy, literate, and intelligent writing that eviscerates the problems at one of the world's great clubs - or at least once was. Things are going well at my club Liverpool for sure. But at ManU, things are very bad, and Ronay helps explain why. It's writing of the highest quality.
