A JavaScript package doesn't even allow me use to install its dependencies anymore. When I try to do it runs a "preinstall" script that forces me to install something called "only-allow", and then "only-allow" takes over and prevents any further installation from happening unless I stop everything I'm doing and install a different package manager because apparently that is very important.
If I delete that bizarre restriction everything works as usual.
