In the 90s I would get home from school then grab my bike and meet up with a friend and ride around dirt construction sites for hours until after dark then come home and mom would be pissed
But rinse repeat do it again the next day 😂
My nostalgia for the 90s is rooted in it being a time before smart phones and social media. So many more more social shared experiences, unlike now with everyone watching curated content on their separate screens.
In the 90s you could goof off with friends without needing to record and document every single moment. You could make a mistake without worrying that it would end up online and haunt you for the rest of your life. People were on time because you couldn’t make excuses over text messages. You could be gone all day without parents tracking you and that was fine - because you were learning independence and how to be an adult.
