It occurred to me in this morning's rumination that we humans have a real tendency to see things in some kind of binary framework. Capitalists see everything in profit and loss. Be it normal business, climate change, pandemic, or fascist movement.
Similarly the GOP sees all things, including those mentioned, in only political terms. A pandemic in political terms -- gees.
Radically religion sees all as God's will or devil's influence.
I guess it's our way of trying to make things simple.
