I have been trying out a new rule of three when it comes to receiving feedback. I required myself to read the feedback at least three times before doing anything in response.
I see an early pattern emerging from practicing this rule. Instead of sparking a needless conflict over a comment that isn't even wrong, I start with curiosity about my own understanding of the topic at hand.
