Interesting. I was thinking about the same concept last year when I found some wild plum trees. I have some pictures of them in bloom from the past week or so on my feed. #plum #plumblossom Last year I picked a bunch of plums while I was hiking and I ate some but I intentionally grabbed extra to throw into the environment to help the trees propagate. I was thinking about it as something I owed to the trees for feeding me. I should plant vegetables and grains too. I have no land of my own. Anything I plant in the woods that has edible roots would be uprooted by wild boars. I don't mind feeding the boars and the foxes. Maybe I can throw some oats out next time I buy some that are viable. The birds and the deer will like that.
