My employer technically never had a vaccine mandate. I was trading on the CBOE floor, and the CBOE impleminted a mandate that the firms had to enforce. So my employer was enforcing the exchange's policy, which actually helped me get the exemption
I pushed the argument, on top of religious exemptions, that we (the firm) shouldn't be enforcing a potentially illegal policy
My firm agreed, got my letter and supporting arguments, and moved on
