While I actually think algorithmic content is useful in practice (shock! Horror! Oh no but everyone else on fedi say different! etc.), one thing that I think companies need to do better is dealing with the back button and retaining state.
On youtube, if I misclick on a video, that video disappears FOREVER. Unless I remember the title + can search for it it's just gone.
This is stupid, and yes you're pandering to kids who just want to click through randomly, but c'mon now *shakes fist at cloud*
