Yes, you do need to come to a point if recognising you are disabled, and further, be able to say I am disabled, but she then goes on to list numerous examples of internalised ableism, as if that's a good thing. The money is to pay fir help you need,but doesn't cover it, believe me, but if what you need isn't a direct cost - adjustments at school or work - then fine don't claim it. I didn't fir a long time, it's a stressful and humiliating process, on purpose. You adding to that by equating being disabled with being lesser, weak, etc adds to that too.
