but all our efforts at park and ride are almost hostile to the user. The car parks are cold windswept exposed locations where you have to walk though rows of cars to get to the pick up point. Where you wait ages for a bus. Then the bus takes almost as long as it would have taken you to drive in! It's almost as if the plan was to make them fail!
They also do not interconnect with local distribution services, and the within town transport costs extra, not included.
