I'm a strong yes. I love the Olympics. A great chance to delve into the world of interesting amateur sports for an hour or two and walk away knowing more about culture and people in other parts of your country and the world. I like the structure, the politics, the rules, the kooky traditions, the gossip. And it tries to tell a story of a world where attention is globalized and the competition between nations is kindhearted, respectful and low stakes. I wish more of the world were like the Games.
