I would not use the word fascist because it has lost meaning but comparing a country to some of the worst dictatorships in the world is not a great argument.
Both can be true. Israel is at best a state like apartheid South Africa which has democracy for some but not all the people it controls and has been governed by a far right coalition for too long. Hamas is slightly worse but that is not saying much.
