CW: folklore, mythology, and poetry (in case it's of interest)
Before I started writing Hawthorn I had some vague ideas about a game involving mythological characters and wrote a couple of poems that I imagined as speeches given by some of them. My poem "Winter Giants" came from this and is going to be published in a folklore ezine in Nov 🥳
The literary magazine is produced by these amazing folklorists and I'm freaking out with excitement.
